10TH DECEMBER is The International Human Rights Day

πŸ‘ŒThe world celebrates Human Rights Day to raise awareness about the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being.

πŸ’ΏThis year’s theme is about ‘Equality’
β€œAll human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”

That includes people living with Disability.

πŸ‘We need to assist special need children (SNC) because they often like routine and ritual
πŸ‘‰ Always praise or reward them whenever they overcome a change/unexpected events
🦻 learn about the Child from the child through observation
πŸ₯Ά Always encourage them to talk or express their needs nonverbally
πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» Remember that choices can be built in any part or time of their school day.
πŸ‘‡ Give them chance to participate in home, school and community activities
πŸ™‡β€β™€οΈ Encourage them to take a break
πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ Ensure conducive learning environment because this motivates them.
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Implement support that they will find useful by ensuring accommodations and modifications in their environment

πŸ‘ Above all remember with God all things are possible
