10TH DECEMBER is The International Human Rights Day.
πThe world celebrates Human Rights Day to raise awareness about the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being.
πΏThis year’s theme is about ‘Equality’
βAll human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.β
That includes people living with Disability.
πWe need to assist special need children (SNC) because they often like routine and ritual
π Always praise or reward them whenever they overcome a change/unexpected events
𦻠learn about the Child from the child through observation
π₯Ά Always encourage them to talk or express their needs nonverbally
π©βπ» Remember that choices can be built in any part or time of their school day.
π Give them chance to participate in home, school and community activities
πββοΈ Encourage them to take a break
π©βπ Ensure conducive learning environment because this motivates them.
π¨βπ©βπ§ Implement support that they will find useful by ensuring accommodations and modifications in their environment
π Above all remember with God all things are possible
