Orange the World – End Violence Against Women Now

In most countries of the world, there is the social cultural problem of blaming the woman for misfortunes in marriage or family especially if there is any form of disability

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸผWhen she gives birth to an offspring with any of such, she is likely to be stigmatized.

๐Ÿ™‚The society and family see her as a misfortune and a burden if she is the one with disability

People with disabilities are more susceptible to abuse for many reasons. E.g Predators perceive them as being weak, vulnerable or less likely to report abuse, making them easy targets.

๐Ÿค So let us work together by creating awareness and fighting for people who cannot fight for themselves.

๐Ÿ™The colour orange symbolises a more hopeful future for a free of violence society for women and girls

๐Ÿ˜‡A brighter free future, with opportunities to contribute to their home, community and Nation.

๐Ÿ‘ Say no to discrimination and stigmatization against women and girl child with disability.
